Site Visit
Only three week to Taylor's University Lakeside Campus and our lecturer in charge of Elements of Natural and Built Environment had already planned a trip for us!
Site Visit Details:
Date : 28th February 2014 - 2 March 2014
Duration : 3 Days 2 Night
Venue : D'ark Training Resort Sdn Bhd , Janda Baik , Bentong , Pahang
Before the trip, we are divided under different tutor and i am arranged under Miss Ida. We are also divided into different team under the same tutor. My team mates are En Huey , Darren Sia , Hazmi , Andrew Kim and Jeffrey Liew. We decided our group name to be Team Ace as our target are the same . To ace in every project!
During the trip, we are seated under different tutor. We load our luggage and get into the bus and off we go to Janda Baik, lead by Miss Delliya Zain , Miss Sufina , Pn Has and Miss Ida.
When we reach Janda Baik, the only thing that caught our attention is the fresh air. After briefing by Miss De about the Do's and Don'ts , we are given time to enter our room and unload our luggage.

After unloading our luggage and bagpack, we started to move in our team to hunt for a 10m x 10m site for our observation and investigation. After discussion , we found our site which consists of water, land and algae.
OUR SITE WHICH CONSISTS OF :
WATER
LAND
ALGAE
In the evening, we were called to gather at the field by Miss De. No one knows what is happening until.....

MISS DELLIYA COME OUT WITH HER GROUP ' MONSTAAAAAAA ' AND THEY ARE ARMED WITH WATER GUN !!!
RUN FOR YOUR LIFE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET WET!
After the water battle , we are given 10 minutes to go back to our room to get any paper and tape we had. We then had a paper-boat making competition. We need to compete with every team to see who has the biggest paper boat.

The biggest boat is made my Miss Delliya's team. Then , we had a paper-boat competition whereas we need to place our paper- boat in the river nearby to see which boat can reach the destionation in the shortest time.

In the night , we had a superhero introduction at the conference hall . Our group is known as ' THE EXPANDABLES ' and my superpower is actually the powerpuff girls. Before off to bed, we were told to have morning walk early in the morning and we are required to wake up at 6 a.m.
Set the alarm and off to bed.
The next morning, i wake up at 6 and went to the field as told. However, only a few is awake.

And...
we had a selfie time with the lecturers and those who managed to wake up early in the morning!!
After breakfast, we were told to gather at the field again because we are going to other place by a lorry! A lorry trip! First in my life!! The road trip on lorry is fun and exciting. I can hear shouting and screaming everywhere. They describe the trip as TEMPLE RUN because we need to hide from the falling leaves and trees. Fun indeed!

When everyone arrived at the site , we are given a brief and security measures before the raft-making competition. We were regrouped and given bamboos as well as string to make our very own raft. The very first experience!

After the raft-making competition , we went back to our site and prepare more details and evidence for our project 1. Then , we reherse for our superhero performance.
Dinner time over and it is time to our performance!!
'Presenting... MR EXPANDABLE and his weird friendssss! Congratulations Team Expandable! We lost every competition but through teamwork and dedication we won the Best Performance on the last night!'

THE EXPANDABLES
Last day at Janda Baik and it was quite sad to leave such a good place where we can bond our ties between each other and getting close to nature. I really have to admit that this trip not only bring all of us together but also help us to know each other.
Before leaving , we went to observe our site for the very last time and had a group photo before leaving Janda Baik.
