Know My Roots
In a group of two, we are to produce a graphical time-line calendar together with family tree, an infographic board to represent the family's culture and traditions, as well as providing a 10 minutes video of the interview and research that has been done.
My partner is Shirley and after been through discussion, we had decided to do her family. We made this decision because i had very little things to write in my family. On the other hand, Shirley's had quite a lot to be written. Thus, we chose her family.
Shirley is from Johor Bahru, Johor but her mother is from Sarawak. This video explains the history of her family and how her parents met each other.
Reflection:
From this assignment, i learned the important of understanding the background of my family. I also learn to think creatively. This happens because if we do not think out of the box, all of our assignment will look the same , and it will be quite boring if everyone had the same 10 minutes long video.
