The main reason I am writing this essay is to reflect on all my learning experience for the subject, Introduction to Business. The main reason why this module is important because it helps students to understand the basic concepts of business. It also serves to provide an informative background on business systems and help students to understand different types of business organisations, the know-how in starting and managing a business Besides, it also helps us to understand the importance of ethics and social responsibility of business. 

 

      The important lessons that i had learnt in this module are Introduction to Business Environment, which helps me to understand the goals and functions of a business and all the major forms of business. At the same time, I also learnt different types of environmental factors that affects business. From this module, i also learnt that it is important to understand the financial system.

 

      These lessons are important as they serve as they help me to list and describe the different types of business. Besides that, it also helps me to understand the internal and external factors that affect a business operations.Other than that, the financial systems lessons are also important as it helps me to understand the purpose of accounting and helps me to understand how the account reports work. The account reports includes statement of income and statement of financial position.

 

       My favourite topic in this whole module is the topic “ Managing Financial Information ” as it helps me to understand how the financial systems works. I learnt this in secondary school before, hence i think it is really fun for me. I think it is very easy to understand and i can do them with ease. That’s the reason why i like this subject.  I don’t have any least favourite topic because everything else is new to me. I think it  is a challenge for me since i didn’t learn the others before. With this, i can challenge myself to do research more and understand more about them.

 

       From this module, i really learnt a lot. The days that i missed was the charity drive. From the charity drive, i learnt that starting a business is not easy at all. To make sure the business runs smoothly, you need to have a working organisational chart as it serves as the backbone for the whole organisations.
